Customer Segmentation with Personalized Offers Using Machine Learning & If-Else Statements

ABSTRACT
Abstract— We live in a world where huge amount of data is collected daily. Analyzing such data is an important need. For example, businesses often struggle to recognize their potential customers; to make it easy customers are divided into groups so that they know on which group they have to focus the most. This is done using customer segmentation process. Customer segmentation is a critical method in marketing which allows companies and other businesses to make customized offers, improving customer interaction. In order to give customized offers for different customer coalitions, this paper shows the tactic of customer segmentation approach using machine learning combined with if-else statements. In this paper, the if-else statement is used which is a conditional or selection statement, it helps to segment customers according to alike preferences. Using if-else logic is to modify offers for each customer segment by giving unique recommendation to each group.
